The Samsung Star 3G was launched with 2 other Samsung phones, Samsung Beat DJ and Samsung Star. Although the phone does not have very extraordinary looks, it is pretty decent for its price.The Samsung Star 3G is a light weight (90 g) and slim phone (13 mm thick). The size of the phone is pretty good and it can be easily kept in a pocket.

The phone has a 2.8 inches screen with 240x320 pixels resolution. Speakers and 3.2 mega pixels camera along with LED flash are situated at the bottom left of the phone. There is a MicroSD card slot which can expand the memory of your phone to as much as 16 GB. Apart from that, the Star 3G also has an internal memory of 80 MB.

The phone has a simple touch input and equips a standard keypad, instead of a QWERTY toutchpad. The device also comes with some pre-installed applications including an application for Share-pix on online image portals such as Picasa, Facebook, Photobucket, Flickr, MySpace and Friendster. Other applications included in the phone are Voice Recorder, Stopwatch, RSS Reader, Timer and FM Tuner. Undoubtedly, the Samsung Star 3G will be a great bargain, especially when you look at its price tag.
